Water level meter is composed of sensor, ruler cable, and cable reels.

Ruler cable It made by ruler and cable using plastic technology to keep them together. Making the read more convenient and accurate.

sensor It made by stainless steel, inside is a water resistance contact point. When the contact point contact water, the receiver system will open. When the contact point leaves the water, the receiver system will close.

Reels With a stand-alone design, convenient carrying handle, and sturdy probe holder, the standard reels are ergonomically designed for ease of use. They are robust and smooth running. The battery is housed in a convenient drawer in the front of the reel, allowing quick replacement. The reels are equipped with an on/off sensitivity switch, light, buzzer, battery.

The system use battery to supply power, so when you finished the test, you should keep it power off. Power supply is 9V, when it has no power, you should open the cover and change it.

After measurement, please keep the detect head and cable clean, cable rolled in cable reel. Putting them in a good condition. Unauthorized disassembly of this product is not allowed. It can not put in water horizontally, the cable can not bucking, especially the ends.

The detect head should been carry, put softly and avoid vibration.

10.Can I get the spare parts of water level meter ?

Yes, our factory support the spare parts like steel ruler cable,the frame and reel, steel ruler cable with probe.

11.How to replace the ruler tape on the water level meter?

If your steel ruler cable on the water level meter is broken after long runlife-time service.You can only buy the steel ruler cable from us then replce it via yourself.

Factors affecting measurement accuracy

The operators must comply with operating procedure.

Operation method

In measuring, make the cable reel rotate and push the power button, put the detect head in the water pipe, put the ruler cable in hand and make it drop slowly. When the contact point of detect head contact water, the receiver system buzzer will sound. Then you can read the data on the ruler cable knowing the water level.(if the surrounding voice is loudly, maybe you can hear buzzer, so you can observe the indicate light and voltage meter).

Using tips

When the detect head contact water, buzzer will sound, indicator light on, This time you should put the cable slowly and look for the right place of the water level and the pipe or hole’s depth.

Maintenance

The system use 9v battery to supply power, so when you finished test, you should keep it power off. When the water level meters almost run out of battery , you should open the cover and replace it. After measurement, please keep the detect head and cable clean, cable rolled in cable reel. Putting them in a good condition. Unauthorized disassembly of the product, it can not been put in water horizontally, the cable can not bucking, especially the ends. The detect head should carry and put softly.

How does a water level meter work?

The probes incorporate an insulating gap between electrodes.

When contact is made with water, the circuit is completed,

activating a loud buzzer and a light. The water level is then

determined by taking a reading directly from the tape at the topof the well casing or borehole.

The Water Level Meters are powered by one 9V battery. The light and buzzer are activated when the probe reaches water, completing an electrical circuit.

How to use water level meter?
